GIS and SAP integration
Press Release: Impronta proudly announces that The Metropolitan District, Connecticut, has successfully integrated ESRI’s Enterprise GIS with SAP’s GEF (Geographical Enablement Framework for EAM) utilizing SAP’s Sync4GEF and Impronta’s GIS4ALL Engine software. June 15, 2020.
The Metropolitan District – a public non-profit municipal corporation was created by the General Assembly in 1929, to provide quality potable water and sewer systems for people and businesses in the Hartford area. For more than 80 years, the MDC has played a preeminent role in the Capitol Region. From its beginning as a water and sewer service provider, its services have expanded greatly to park maintenance, GIS services, recreation and household hazardous waste collection. The District remains ready to continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of the region.
IMPRONTA’s GIS4ALL Sync Software (formerly known as GIS2SAP) was built to help organizations to seamlessly synchronize Enterprise Geodatabases with SAP. GIS4ALL can connect to SAP using different connectors like Remote Function Call (RFC), GEF (Geographical Enablement Framework for EAM) and PI (Process Integration).
